Holly House – Southside Partnership
We support young people who are based in the Loughlinstown, Ballybrack, Shankill who are not in involved in any education, eg, school, training or aren’t working. We are a community centre based in the heart of Loughlinstown and have a few different things going on.
We have group work for 12-14 year olds who are in school and help talk about difficulties in school, difficulties with friends, social media, how to problem solve and feel better about ourselves. We have a summer camps and like to get out and about, to the beach and other trips, Jump zone etc.
For those aged 15-24 we have one-to-one support where we try to see what a young person needs or wants which might mean a training course or looking at their CV and giving them the chance to be ready for work or find a job. There is also the option to play pool, go for a coffee or take a short trip or get a pizza delivered. How to connect with this service → Changes to our service due to Coronavirus →

How can you help me?
We would look at where you are at, what way you feel and to help you feel understood. It can be difficult to know what it is that you do want and we try to see what would be the best fit for you. Life is hard being young, stuff happens and in difficult situations we don’t always make the best choices, we try to put things in place for you to feel better about yourself and a problem shared is a problem halved. We can chat over the phone or in person (when that is possible again!) We would like to make it easier for you as asking for help can be hard, so bear that in mind, it’s a brave step you are taking!
Remember that if we can sort it out, chances are we can put you in touch with someone who can.
How do I connect with your service?
Send us a text or WhatsApp message, send a private message through Facebook, give us a call, or drop in yourself. If you can’t get in touch, a parent, guardian or a friend can do it for you.
